Died: January 25, 2017.
Age at death: 14.
Cause of death: Negligence (Drowning; left unsupervised by lifeguard).
Location: Garfield Ridge, Chicago, Illinois, USA.
Rosario's family remembers him as "...a bright young boy. He was a child with autism, that was his uniqueness. His autism was what made him strong, what made him unique. He loved trains, he loved taking the subway and going on trips in the Metra. He could tell you every stop from his home all the way to whatever destination you had. He loved school and always looked forward to getting up and going. His family was addicted to his charming ways. He loved to help grandma with anything she needed, especially since she has trouble walking. He loved going everywhere with his grandfather."
Rosario drowned in a swimming pool at school. The school had not bothered to give him swimming lessons, and the lifeguard was using a computer in a nearby office instead of staying at his post. By the time Rosario was seen at the bottom of the swimming pool, it was too late to save him.
